Your first name and last mood are stored only on your device using the platform’s local storage (e.g. AsyncStorage). We do not maintain a central database of user names or moods. If you uninstall the App or clear app data, this information is removed.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect any data we process. Communications with third-party APIs (affirmations.dev, Unsplash) use HTTPS. We do not store your data on our own servers for the core App experience.

6. Your Legal Rights

South Africa (POPIA): You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa). Contact details: Information Regulator.

EU/EEA/UK (GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and to object. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country. Since we do not store your name or mood on our servers, you can effectively “delete” your data by clearing the App’s data or uninstalling the App.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EU/EEA where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
